OUR MISSION

The Sundance Collection was created as a “not for profit” enterprise in order to fulfill three primary goals that are very close to our hearts:

To try to make a difference in the lives of less fortunate animals throughout the country by raising funds for canine cancer research (cancer is the # 1 cause of premature death in dogs) and canine rescue efforts. ALL PROFITS from the sale of our unique, custom beaded dog collars are donated directly to a variety of organizations that support these important causes (see FAQ’s for links to some of our favorite rescue and research facilities).
To create beautiful, custom made “wearable art” for our fellow dog lovers.
To give back and economically support the amazing artisans and their tribes that make these unique products possible through our fair trade agreement compensation programs.

SOUTHWESTERN and KENYAN BEADED DOG COLLARS

Southwestern: Designed and individually handbeaded by Santa Fe Navajo artisan, Thomas Begay, these exquisitely detailed collars allow the client to select from a wide variety of patterns and colors to create one of a kind pieces of wearable art.

Kenyan: Designed and created by artisans of the Maasai tribe in Kenya, these one of a kind collars are not only beautiful, high quality products, but also assist over 100 families in Africa to build a better life. All artisans are appropriately compensated and encouraged to influence product design.
